Unhappy

I have 2 scratches on the side of my rear bumper, dont for the life of me know how they got there, but they are there. My car has less then 3,500 miles on it, but you cant let something small like that get you down, its gonna happen sooner or later.

Exactly what you state is exactly WHY I would NEVER lower my car. I said NEVER!

My '02 had minor damage to both front and rear bumper covers, when I bought it (Sept. 2008). Just made me SICK! I replaced both covers, along with both fender liners, and the lower splash shield, at considerable expense. (Over $700! ) A ruthless PERFECTIONIST, I don't want even ONE damn scratch on the underside of my car! Or elsewhere!

i cant bring myself to lower my car, but i cant deny how beautiful it looks.

im going to wait and learn my car better. then again, i live in LA, so there are thousands of thousands of unfamiliar driveways .

My '07 had some rash on the underside of the back bumper cover when I bought it (middle and driver side behind the wheel). Not that noticeable, but I touched it up anyway. I'm more bummed about the small (and not-so-small) bits of rash on my rims.

Don't ever forget that your so-called "beauty" comes with a hefty PRICE. The closer you sit to the ground, you're going to damage something. Not a question of "if." ONLY a question of "when." Hope you have a FAT checkbook!

I have one on the left side. Happened when I let my sister drive it home because I didn't feel that good. We were down town and she turned the wrong way down a one way street. I started freaking out and she gunned it into a parking lot with an entrance that could easilly be confused for a small mountain.

I am lowered 1.5", hate the 4x4 wheel gap, but I am by no means slammed.

Latest mod: 35W 3000K Fogs.

The BEST aspect of "slammed" cars...is that I NEVER have to worry about paying for their inevitable, undercarriage damage!

My car is not lowered, but I have scratches on both sides of the front bumper cover as well as some paint removed from the metal protrusions from the undercarriage....

about a month into driving it, I was still getting used to how long the car was..... and I was pulling into a parking space and accidentally drove over the curb with the front bumper cover......The other thing I was not used to was how low to the ground the car was compared to my previous ride - POS Chevy S-10..... with the S-10, I could go over almost all normal curbs, but not so with the accord.... it made the most hideous screaching/scratching sound ever! well, I had two of my buddies in the car as witnesses...... but I quickly told them that I at least feel a LOT better knowing I put the first scratches on my car *however epically I may have done it*

I certainly would have been much more mad to see a door ding, hit and run, etc as the first blemishes on my car.... but anything done by my hand, I am ok with....

It's not the car that's actually low; it's the front bumper. I hate how they make new cars like this; the Accord is especially bad too.

I'm lowered 3" and the bottom right and left part of bumper is messed up like you wouldn't believe. I don't really care though because no one can see the bottom of the bumper unless they are lying flat on the ground facing up, even then you can barely see it lol. It's not visible so who cares if it gets scratched.

i'm lowered 1.5in. within the 1st week or so after getting my car lowered i gave my car a pretty mad gash on the bottom right corner of my bumper

i was still not fully used to driving my car lower to the ground at the time + steep driveway into deep gutter = bumper scratches, lol.

i also have a set of scratches above that, but that's from something else entirely. that was caused by bushes somehow. i don't even know how since bushes are typically soft...
