Electrical concerns - Drive Accord Honda Forums

Electrical concerns

When I'm parking on coming out of a park my car radio and display screen cuts off! It actually does it anytime I'm cutting the wheel w my foot on or off the breaks....also powers off if I hit a pot hole....concerned about the safety of this vehicle...like will the power fail altogether. I doubt that it's he battery as I just replaced that in like December. Tried to post the video but I can't seem to figure that out

I think what he is saying is that if he hits a bump, one of the screens goes blank.

If that is so - go to the dealer. They need to fix it.

Have you rechecked the cable clamps for the battery? Classic symptoms you have for a loose clamp when hitting a bump of any large size.

Could also be an internal break in the battery plate at the post.

To the OP: obviously something is loose either in the dash or under the hood. I believe it's been mentioned here previously.

Well, if it's related, here was my issue back in 2013. Whenever I turned my steering wheel, especially when parking, all my lights would flash and radio would cycle off and on. The fix was a replacement cable reel in the steering wheel.
