traction control you can turn it off or sometimes if your driving recklessly it turns on because its trying to keep traction

When the traction control system is in use, it will flash the triangle. If it comes on steady, it can indicate that the brake switch has gone bad. Honda replaced mine free of charge. Apparently that has been known to fail. So if it comes on randomly (steady light) while driving or stopped, take it to the dealer to have checked out.

If it stays on that indicates a problem. Under normal use it will simply flash when it engages.

As Accordriver said, you have a problem. It is not supposed to stay on steady while driving. Most likely it is the brake switch failure. If it is the brake switch, you may not have any brake lights when it is on. My light was also intermittent. Some days it did not come on, other days is was on steady.

It will come on steady until you restart the car if you "accidentally" pressed the VSA button next to the sunroof control (that turns the vsa off). Pressing it again will turn it back on, turning the light off. VSA is always on unless you press the button and when it's off the light will appear.

Incorrect. You can turn it on and off with the TCS Off button; however, when you manually turn it off, it will show the triangle and the word OFF next to it. If the triangle appears on by itself, there is a fault in the system. It can be the TCS system itself, or the brake switch. The triangle will flash when the TCS system is operating to compensate for loss of traction.

VSA is something entirely different than TCS. The Accord V6 has TCS, Traction Control System. VSA is Vehicle Stability System.

k guys so maybe i did hit it on accident with my knee or something. but i have no idea if TCS if on off off when the light appears. maybe i should launch the car and spin the wheels a bit to determine if TCS is on? if it is on the light is not static, but flashes then it is ON and there is NO problems? is my logic correct?

push the button if the light comes on its off....if the light goes off then TCS is on....light and TCS are opposites...is the lights on TCS is off...if the lights off then TCS is on
