Arrow Issues with Power Steering going out when it rains

I drive a 2003 Honda Accord EX Sedan, and I have notice that when it rains my battery light comes on in my dashboard and then my power steering goes out for a few seconds. I am assuming that I need to replace my drive belt but I am not sure. Please help, Thanks!

Perhaps you have some kind of leak when it rains? Take it to your dealer or trusted mechanic so they can figure out the problem. I wouldn't want to be in your car when it rains if you lose your power steering.

2 things come to mind, a over used belt (stretched), or you're going WAY too fast through puddles in the rain.
There is some protection from water, but hitting huge puddles at high speeds will throw water everywhere.

Did replacing the belt solve your problem? I'm having a similar problem with my daughter's 2004 lx sedan. The dealer can't duplicate the problem or offer a solution. I'm afraid to let her drive the car.
