Looking for Lightweight Wheels

I'm in the process of preparing lists of desired upgrades, and will most likely focus on suspension mods first and continue down the list as the budget allows. As of now, Progress sway bar is first, followed by suspension (probably HFP), then tires/wheels.

Regarding the wheels, here are my desired specs (leaning more toward specs vs looks):

- 18 or 19" diameter
- 8.5" wide
- No more than 45mm offset
- As light as possible, no more than 21 lbs/wheel
- less than $300/wheel

Here are some contenders:
- Advanti Svelto 19": Specs are great, not quite the look I'm going for but I can live with it (Tire Rack)
- Enkei Tuning TS-10 18": Offset a bit more than I'd like, but appearance is nice (would really like the Pearl Black)
- Konig Oversteer 19": Looks nice, price is right, but too heavy

I'd appreciate any advice.

My set up is VMR 702 : 18x8.5 Offset 45 Hubcentric to Honda weighing in 24lbs, My tires are on Continentals at 24.3lbs 245/45/18

I would look at VMR at their flowformed wheels: 810s have a weight 20lbs for 18s and 22lbs for 19s they can be made hubcentric for our cars and no hubcentric rings needed thus vibration free. The other wheels you looked at could match the VMR 701s but they weigh in at 23lbs. Had them on my vw tiguan and they were fantastic in look and performance. The other brand for light weight wheels which i looked at was the rotary forge TSWs but they are limited in selection and concavity. Do your research and good luck

VMR has some nice wheels. I'm checking them out on 1010tires. As for the TSW wheels, I had TSW Interlagos on my BMW (still have them, staggered set, 18x8 front, 18x9.5 rear, with Bridgestone Driveguard tires, for sale). Good wheels, I'm looking at them, too, but it's kinda "Been there, done that".

Yeah, the Interforms are nice, they seem to fit the bill. Would prefer them in black, but they still look good. Konig Milligram looks pretty good, too.

Konig Interform 20x8.5 21lbs each. You want 19s or 18s so will of course weigh less than my 20s.

The TSW Interlagos wheels are forged and cost about $300 per wheel. But I guess you know that! Most forged wheels cost at least two to three times as much. GREAT wheel for the money. That would have been my suggestion.

They really are nice wheels. One thing about flat black wheels, though, is that they seem to attract and hold the dirt more than gloss black or chrome wheels. But I agree, great wheels for the money.

So, it looks like the light wheels run about 20 - 21 pounds or so, about 5 less than stock, per wheel.
Plus 20 - 25 pounds per tire.

Can you really tell a diff through your butt dyno?
The car weighs what? > 3,000 pounds?

Or is it really mostly about looks?
Which is fine with me.

The wheels have rotational mass which is different. Read through this thread: Anyone put lighter wheels on and experienced improvement in MPG and acceleration? and this Sport Wheels are nice but...

I read several threads regarding wheels, weight vs performance vs looks vs price. I'm just trying to get some advice on what will be best for me based on my desired preferences. There are many fine choices out there and I appreciate everyone's advice.

There's a set of Enkei PF01's for sale in the Classified section on this forum, Excellent condition with like new MXM4 tires, 18 x 8.5. Roughly 19lb rims, good deal for what he's asking for them.
