Talking What product should I use for paint sealant

I got my first Honda on May 12 and the dealer applied, some type of paint sealant. They then tried to sell me a $600 package for my car. I passed on that I know what ever they used I can buy myself and do the same. I read these post everyday, looking for the right product. I keep the the paint clean and don't leave bird dropping or bug on the surface. What ever the dealer applied the bugs wipe right off. I'd like to keep this finish on the car what product do you recommend. I know there are other post on this but they don't seem to match what I'm looking for.

Congrats on the new ride!! Are you sure the dealer applied sealant?
The reason I asked is mine came without dealer touching exterior or interior.
Just a mechanical PDI was done. After washing and while polishing I noticed I was removing some sort of sealer on the paint from the factory
I removed all the sealer from the car and will apply my own.

Now to your ? and to "quote" I know there are other post on this but they don't seem to match what I'm looking for.

What are you looking for? That may help us answer your ?

I'm looking to be able to seal the paint so that I have time to get the bugs and bird dropping off defore they damage the finsh. The wife drives the car and I don't always have time to make sure it's clean. I'm pretty sure the dealer put something on because I was able to wipe bugs off the front with no effort.

When you guys (and gals... ) refer to "paint sealant", do you mean synthetic, polymer-based wax/glaze?

Examples of synthetic, polymer-based waxes/glazes (ie. 'paint-sealants')

- Zaino (Z2)
- Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze
- Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0
- Poorboy's World EX-P Sealant
- Meguiar’s #21 Synthetic Sealant
- Meguiar’s NXT
- Griot's Paint Sealant
- Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Synthetic Wax
- Mothers FX Synwax
- Ultima Paint Guard Plus
- Sonus Acrylic Glanz Spray Sealant
- Eagle One NanoWax
- Finish Kare FK1-217 FX-Quick Gloss Polish Glaze Sealant Anti-Static
- Black Magic Titanium Synthetic Wax
- Liquid Glass

My recommendation, cut-paste the names of the 'paint sealants' above and search the well-known auto-detailing forums... then, choose one that fits your needs and works w/ your budget!

Remember, the key in detailing: surface preparation!
