This past weekend it was time to change the oil on my car. I have never done one on it before having bought it 3 months ago.
I found out you can do a "topside" oil change, and on the 4-cylinder models, you can also change the oil filter from the top. This is how it is done (by design) on most European cars, and my previous car was a VW Golf TDI, so I had the equipment to do it this way.
Using my Pela 6000, I sucked the oil out through the dipstick tube. I got 4.x quarts out.
The oil filter can be accessed from the top on 4-cylinder models, just put your cap wrench on it and spin it off. There's enough room there to get a ratchet in. Once removed, tip the open side up and lift it out.
