Your Next Vehicle - Staying with Honda, or going elsewhere?

So the new poll for the day, if you lease or own your car and its that time or will be soon, the question is will you stay with Honda, or go somewhere else?

Discuss amongst yourselves

My next vehicle, an addition but not a replacement for anything, will either be an import premium GT-coupe / sports-coupe (hence, Honda/Acura aren't in the running) or an import premium luxury sports-sedan (Acura RL is something I'd give strong consideration for it's performance/handling & fit/finish; TL is something I'm drawn towards at times, but I actually like the new Maxima even more!). IF I was in the market for a robust/stylish "bucket" ala' Crossover-meets-SUV, I'd keenly look towards an Infiniti FX.

However, if I needed an import family sedan that was comfortable, roomy, and reliable & dependable, I'd get another Accord again w/o reservation or hesitation! I'm not drawn towards any of the Accord competitors. All in one's personal preference. . .

At the mo', vehicles on my radar ($35k - $55k, obviously some of the pre-owned): new Audi A5/S5, '06+ Aston Martin V8 Vantage, new Nissan Maxima, new Acura RL, '06+ Mercedes Benz CLS, new Infiniti FX.

{I keep my vehicles for anywhere from 5-10 years...}

Not much interest in this poll huh ...

I will prob. be going elsewhere because i have some needs not met by my Accord coupe (like handling tight corners, and the brakes need work) and by the time im ready the styling will be def a reason as well, but for now i am content,

I know there are work arounds but i am not in that stage anymore (i cant believe i am even saying this) that i need to modify my car to suit my needs, id rather know from the factory i am getting all the goods (which i guess makes it more exciting in the future to go car shopping -

Honda just hasn't lived up to their reputation for reliability in my experience. What I get after my Accord really depends on what I'm making.

If I'm totally reeling in dough when it comes time to get a new car, I'll probably have two vehicles:
1) Chevy Volt (should be in it's 2nd or 3rd year at least) for Daily Driving
2) Ariel Atom (for fun, obviously )

If I want one car to satisfy the DD role and the fun car role, it will probably be a 2007/2008 TL Type S

I plan to keep my Accord for a long time, but depending on how it turns out, I might take a serious look at the 9th gen Accord. One thing's for sure, I will totally give up this idea if it's any bigger, heavier than the current Accord as I think the current Accord is already too big and too heavy for my taste(for Accord).

If I didn't have my Accord and were in the market for a midsize car today, I would probably be looking at...

1)Toyota Camry SE
2)Mazda6
3)Base TSX
4)Maybe, maybe a Sonata SE

in addition to the Accord, of course.

I've always had at least one Honda at home since Nov 1987. So even if I try another brand (which I have), I'm still a Honda guy. But there is just something about coming back to a Honda that just feels right. "More right" than other brands.

I plan on getting a 7.5 gen 6-6 sedan or a late 3rd gen TL (6spd hopefully) to replace my 6th gen. My wife drives an 08 Altima and the lease is up in about a year. I/we go back and forth about staying with a car or getting an SUV. We really like the Kia/Hyundai offerings but who knows. I think about it more than she does.

The only Honda I'd consider today is a used 07-08 3rd gen TL.

Other than that, I'd be looking at (in no particular order): VW (GTI, R32), BMW, Lexus, Hyundai (Genesis coupe or Sonata), Mazda (speed 3), and Subaru.

I plan on keeping my 7th gen at least 3 more years when I turn 25 and my insurance drops, then I will probably stay in the Honda/Acura family with a used NSX. It's always been my dream car.

I plan on keeping my Accord as a DD for a long time that way I can step into something really fun for my next car. What I get depends on what kind of job I have after I'm finished with school in two years but it definitely won't be another Honda. They don't have anything out right now that would fill my wants. Looking for an all around sports car for my next vehicle.

I'll stay with Honda only if they bump up the some ride comfort and noise quietness. If they can make them as quiet as Ford cars, I'll stay.

Depends on what direction they take.

If styling goes the way Acura is going, it will definately be with another company.
