hesitation & idle is rough

My 98 accord ex has 125k.When it warms up the idle is rough.
I feel it when i stop & go.I have to hold on gas little when it stop otherwise i feel like my car is going to die.And also this car has hesitation also
during warm up.It jumps 2000 & come down to idle when i stop & go.
After it reaches normal temp, the car runs fine.Anyone have solution to fix it.

From the search i understood the hesitation
problem happen because of the IACV not adjusted properly.
I thought we need to adjust the IACV only when we change/repair something
on this.I have never touched or replace the IACV.Do you guys think it is better to give it a try adjusting it?.I am afraid because i dont want to mess up the idle.

About the rough idle,is it problem with
EGR or FIACV.I am not sure my car has FIACV.

I will appreciate everyone opinion.

I had a cel come on and I took it to autozone for readout on the scanner. They said it was running lean which could be from all sorts of things. I took it into the dealer and they said it was the fuel pressure regulator. There is a tsb on it. I also had some of the same symtoms you had. The repair cost about $120.

I need a little more information
stick or automatic?
services history? i.e. last plug change, cap/rotor, wires, valve adjust, timing belts, etc.

egr has no effect on idle, only would if it stuck open and then the car would die at idle if the ports are clear on all cylinders. egr that opens normally but the ports are clogged on could cause misfire on light throttle acceleration.

The iac could be sticking, causing the low idle and surge, the low idle could also just be from a dirty throttle plate and bore. Cleaning these and then setting the idle bypass to proper idle speed usually fixes low idle concerns.
Do not adjust the idle bypass screw with a dirty throttle body.

I have not much history.It has 126k on it/auto/v tech,ex/4 door

If the idle is low, when i turn the engine on,what is the range rpm it should show.My car rpm when it idle it stays about 800rpm.

I have allready cleaned the throttle but didnt adjust the
Iacv. But even before clean it i had the same surge in RPM when i drive from
stop light & go.

thanks for the response.
