So the last week or two this front end shake/wobble has been getting worse. It is most apparent under medium/hard acceleration from a stop. You can feel it in both driver and passenger foot wells. Tire are continental DW with about 9k on em alignment was done a couple months back. It doesn't feel like a threw a weight or a bent rim. Car has 66k on the clock about half of that on Ksports@ about 1 finger gap so not slammed. It doesn't feel like a wheel bearing either. No vibrations, no noises of any kind. Was gonna cruise to the tire shop and get the wheels balanced and have a peek under there. I just moved and don't have all my tools at my new place yet. I'm leaning towards a bent axle. I knew I would encounter some problems being low and all but it still seems a bit premature for axle failure. It does it turning or in a straight line. Won't do it while in motion free revving her only in drive. Any ideas? Thx guys.

Axles are notorious for shake-on-acceleration kind of issue, because they're angled out of spec, especially on lowered cars. I had the same issue when I had 1 finger gap , lowered the car more to zero gap and the shake went away.

I feel it but I've been driving it like this for over two years and no issues so I think it's a damaged inner cv joint.

I would agree with checking the CV axles...just had one of mine replaced at 98k miles, and that eliminated 80% of my "wobble." It's slowly getting worse again at 101k miles so I'm thinking the other axle needs to be replaced now. I went with some aftermarket part a local shop recommended (lifetime warranty), so next week I'll go in and have them look at the shafts again to see what's up. It cost me $280ish for the one shaft + labor...btw the only suspension modification I've performed is Monroe Quickstruts all around. I think anymore CV shafts are considered maintenance items lol...makes that lifetime warranty ultra-attractive.

My $0.02,

I had both my shafts vibrate at 100,000 miles - replaced - all good.

I had the same shake but worse. It was a bad moror mount and bushings in tbe control arms. Changed those out and 80% fixed. Still does it but alot less. Its still anoying.
