8th gen oem coupe v6 trunk lip on i4

This is the scariest thing I've ever done. That being said the holes get covered and I used touch up paint to ensure no rust would follow.

Used a white eraser to trace and line up the spoiler.

I got 7-1/4" from the side and about 1" from the top. Again do your own measurements and double check and mark. The holes will be covered so you can make them bigger for minor adjustments.
You can see the bolt in the middle hole. That's where it comes through.

Also worth noting, technically the trunk spring should be replaced to accommodate the added weight from the spoiler. It will stay open and/or up by itself, but it will slam shut easier.

Stuff and WILLYumD like this.

Looks good. Aesthetically, the trunk lip is a must in my opinion.

Looks good, I bought one a few days after getting my coupe because I hate the way the trunk looks without it. I used double sided tape and it held on fine for about a year then started to lift on one side so I drilled the holes.
