I've been wanting to plastidip my chrome trim for some time now, an just haven't had the time or cahones to aim a can of spray anything at my car and pull the trigger haha. I have heard overspray is real easy to rub off with your finger though, did you paint all that on the car?

close up pics would be great.

also anyone who has plasti dipped chrome trim id like to see that too.

I also plasti-dipped the chrome pillars between the doors? not the whole trim. I'll take some shots of that for you came out really good.

No need to remove it guys, What I did was open the hood and remove the front cover that has 8 pins holding it and slid a large plastic bag to cover over spray from getting in behind the grill. then just taped around it right to the edge since theres a smallll gap on the sides, I made sure the tape didnt touch the grill so the plastidip would not bond with the tap and the grill that way when I removed the tap it came off clean and didnt damage the plastidip on the grill. On the top and bottom i used tape right up to the edges of the grill and plastic bags to cover the large surface to avoid over spray and make cleanup easier.

Even if you get over spray and you dont notice... then just give it a good buff and it should take it off. its just sitting on top of your clear. You scrape that top layer off with a good buff and wax and ull be back to normal (i know from experience haha)
