Turn the screw one way to lower the light pattern, and the other way to raise the light pattern.

Do you know where it is on the passenger side? If you do, it's in the same spot on the drivers side. There may be "cover" of some sort over it on the drivers side though. This thread may help.

Use a screwdriver, not a wrench, and don't remove air filter box

Once I removed the air filter box and could see the adjustment mechanism clearly I realized that it's designed to be adjusted with either a wrench OR a screwdriver. There is a gear-like assembly attached to the head of the bolt, and a slot to insert a screwdriver to engage the gear. Turn the screwdriver and you turn the bolt (and thus raise/lower the headlight beam). Hence the photo showing the screwdriver - duh. If you use a long screwdriver you can reach the slot & gear WITHOUT removing the air filter box.
