Would 16x6.5 with a +35 offset work on my Honda accord 2003 v6?

Hey guys, I'm new to Honda's and would much appreciate your help. My fiance drives a 2008 accord coupe I4 and currently has "Drag" brand wheel which i hate and would like to find a nice set that will sit flush with the fenders. Would a 40mm offset do the trick?
Any advice would be much help fellas, or if you could point me in the right direction on this forum.

Thanks

In the process of searching for a replacement spare tire for my car I learned that Honda actually has more than one size for their hub centric wheels. Mine is apparently 2.5", but the first spare tire that I found appeared to be something around 2.75". Does anyone have any information regarding the hub center diameter for the various models to go with the bolt pattern info above? That would help guide me to finding the right size spare tire.

Thanks,

Just bought my first accord and i have a set of new rims from my other car. Can anyone tell me if a 17x9 rim with an offset of 42 fit a 2012 accord coupe?

Will the tire diameter change too much if you put the stock tires of a 2012 accord ex coupe, which is 225/50/17, on 17x9 rims? I think the stock rims are 17x7. Hope you guys can help me out.

Just FYI for everybody, Acura RDX's are 5x114.3, not 5x120. They have a 45 offset. Their wheels will fit on Accords, TSX's, And last gen TL's among others. I just picked a set of 18x7.5 2013 acura RDX wheels of craigslist and was doing some research first and this page almost through me off. you can google it and verify this for yourselves, and here is an acurazine forum link with more info: http://tsx.acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=720488

Mounting 225/50/17's on 9" wide rims is probably not a great idea. Most tire manufacturers recommend a rim width of 6" - 8" for that size tire. It can be done of course, but I believe the manufacturers know best. I don't know about diameter, but you'll be stretching your tires and it's unlikely they'll perform optimally. You can go to online sellers like Discount Tire or Tire Rack and look up your specific tires for yourself.
