2013 accord, transmission clunks when coming to a stop?

Hi all, I'm new here with a 2013 accord sedan EX-L. 32k miles. I4, CVT.

I've noticed an issue with the car and want to see if others experience a similar issue and if there is a remedy.

Most times, but not every time, when I am coming to a red light or stop sign or anything else where I have to slow down and come to a stop, the transmission 'jerks' maybe around 5-10 mph. It's quick and lasts for only a second but that one second of clunking or jerking is quite noticeable, at least to me. Basically if I am driving 45 mph, I start slowing down, everything is fine and smooth, and when the car gets to around 10....9...8...and so on around that MPH it basically feels like someone just downshifted roughly.

Any thoughts?

My thoughts....

Please list which engine and transmission you have so members here can benefit and we don't have a game of 20 questions.

Please search the forum before you post a question as your issue may have been covered plenty of times in many threads (one was yesterday) depending on the transmission you have. If so, please cite that thread in your post, or just add to it- learn from those before you and teach those after you.

I assume you have a 2013 CVT i4. The jerking issue is a known issue for 2013 and there are a few TSB fixes; the specific one is TSB 13-053. Many have reported this fix has remedied the problem.

There should be another TSB that they have to fix, in the valve body, inside the cvt oil pan.

Mine does it but not bad enough I want somebody going into the valve body.....seen this go bad...

Other than this one thing being noticeable my car is flawless so I'm not bothering it....
