Accord EX-L ant Navi anti-theft radio / navigation code(s)

My old Accord EX-L with Navi had two separate anti-theft codes, one for the radio, and one for the navigation.

I picked up my 2013 Accord today. The dealer only gave me one code for the radio. I asked if there should be a second one for the Navigation like my 2003. He said there is only one.

HOWEVER, the Honda's Owner Link web site has space to store two separate codes.

If you have a 2013 with Navi, did you get one code for both or two, one for radio, and one for the Nav?

Thanks in advance.

Radio codes?? We still have radio codes?? Crap, dealer didn't tell me about one....guess I better go find it.....

...which brings up the question: why does Honda still install one when modern factory radios are car specific and not like the more generic DIN style radios that used to be installed??

If Honda's new system is similar to Acura's current, there should be only one so-called Radio/Navi code. Acura's have had only one code when equipped with Navi for a few years now.

Thanks, I also found this at:
https://radio-navicode.honda.com/

"Click the check box if you need to unlock both a radio and a navigation device. Some newer vehicles may only have one serial number for both devices."

There is also a key code to help you replace the FOB should you need to.

Mike, entering the serial number of the device, from settings > device info > (12 digit alphanumeric) ....also found on a sticker in glove box... and going to the site you described.. gave me two codes.. one of which is same as the sticker and the other is different

Interesting. I did not try because I just got the car today and did not think Honda has my info yet.

i know when i got mine, the sales people were still being trained on the new '13 and its features and my friend had forgotten to give me the service book and radio code. i got mine after the first fleet of '13s came in which they only had 7 in the lot. someone had already bought one before i did.

Got a response from the dealer wrt the missing radio code on my car:

The new Accord does not have a radio code, just push the power button to the radio for a couple of seconds and if the radio matches, it comes on.

Interesting....Keep in mind mine is an EX-L, so it may differ for different trim levels....

Okay, glad to hear there is no radio code, because I didn't get one either.

Talking 2014 Accord Touring Navi and Radio Codes

I just recently purchased a 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring Edition. There were no cards with the Navi and Radio Codes. The Honda website needed the VIN and the device serial number. The site said the serial number was on the card that I couldn't find. I finally resolved the situation by going to Navi Settings on the Car, under the All tab, checking System Device Info. This screen gave me Device (serial number), VIN, which database, and the software version. I used this information on the website https://radio-navicode.honda.com to get my codes.
