I originally had my windows tinted (30% on the front and 2% in the back) and the dealer warned me about the problem with the dots on the rear window.

I always hated the way it looked!

Today I have a guy tinting the windows of the 07 Civic I bought and he has a solution to it!

After doing the Civic, he was able to get my Accord 99% better (didnt want to tear the film getting to the area that needed to be fixed). Im sure I'll remove the tint one day to get it perfect.

He just squirt liberal amounts of glue gel on the window... not the tint looks perfect!

Did he also mention the solution where you put vinyl over the dots, or was it just that you didn't like that one?

No, he didnt mention the vinyl... its the way he does it.. and you still have the visibility through that part of the window.

I have the vinyl, and I can't even tell its on there. As long as it looks good for you, though :thmsup:

A reason I prefer vinyl strip is because it is cleaner. Glue method is messy, both application and removal. But it looks good. :thumbsup:
