I am trying to get the short shift kit, but am running into brick walls as they are not answering phones over there.

Say it isn't so!
I'm just glad that I already have my Comp-Tech short shifter!
I guess you can try e-bay! :dunno:

None on ebay. I am trying to contact a seller on Acurazine to see if he has any left.

Wow, that really sux. :( But I guess it's hard to stay in business when your parts cost so much.
Looks like you can still find the short shifter on ebay.

If for some reason you can't still get the Comptech, I'd go with the Neuspeed as they are almost the same.
Wow...I guess that means the few ppl on V6P with Comptech S/C's on their Accords will be the only ones with them, unless they do liquidate or something....
Yeah its not surprising at all. Some of their stuff was really expensive. Rear sway for 129.00?? Or 399.00 for the front strut bar?? Outrageous...

Short Shift Kit Purchased
Whats the difference between the CT shift kit and the newspeed one? Just that plate pictured? Whats the purpose of that anyway?

CT is supposed to be slightly shorter throw (by a few %) than the Neuspeed, plus it comes with that plate, which is just used to get the bushing off the bottom of the shifter (so you can mount the adapter and put the bushing on the adapter). CT also threw in some locktite, but I never used it anyhow.

The oem honda sway bars are artificially cheap for some reason. That price of $129 is right where most sway bars have price-wise for years... but yeah 399 for a strut bar is insane.
With the age of knock-offs on ebay, it's sad to see comptech get put out of business... :(

I hope they have to "liquidate" the TL supercharger and knock down the price.

They are out of them. No more supercharging the TL.

I really dont want to get started on that topic again, I see nothing wrong with the oem sways, they work great for me. I see no difference between the composition of oem vs comptechs except for the bends and I'd be willing to bet the accords endlinks go before the sway does. So I think when the only major difference is $90-$100 dollars in price, I'll stay with oem. With that said, thats my opinion and I doubt it will change...
