I have a 2007 accord 4 cyl that my wanted me to install a front lic plate. I had to modify the plate in order get it to fit. I am now wondering if the plate maybe blocking to much air flow since it appears the the car was not meant to have a front lic plate.

It is state law in CA to run a front plate. Honda has to design around this, so you're fine.

It's state law in all but a handful of states. I wouldn't worry about it.

Kinda depends on how and where the plate has been mounted. At the stock location over the bumper, yes, it's fine. But a plate that "had to be modified in order to get it to fit" sounds like it might have been mounted differently, like in front of the upper or lower grill; in which case, it could potentially reduce airflow into the engine compartment.

Janvan -- If you didn't use the stock Honda bracket to mount the plate, just keep an eye on your temp gauge. Hopefully, it'll tell you if there's a problem.

you can always get a jdm license plate relocater off ebay, and it will mount the license plate off to the right
