: Would BMW Rims fit on my Accord 06 Coupe?

Hey guys,

I'm new to the forum so everyone's gotta start somewhere - therefore here I am :)

I am thinking about getting some new wheels for my Accord 06 Coupe (Ex-L), and I found some for BMW on Ebay.

First thing - I have no idea about how to even look for the right wheel. I learned through the Net about bolt patterns etc, but in the end I still do not know much...

Here are the wheels I'd like to get (would exchange the BMW caps with Honda's):
Click here - long link (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=018&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=280083714822&rd=1,1)

What are the correct bolt patterns, spacings etc one should consider for putting on Accord?

Also, I've been looking around for a better braking system - and Brembo Grand Turismo cought my eye - but dam, are they expensive or what? I am looking to put them at some point in ime as well - so how would that affect the wheel requirements?

One last thing - Could I even fit the 19" wheels I am mentioning on the Accord? What's the biggest size I could go without the need to lower the car or mess with that in any way?

Thanks in advance! :)

19" wheels would fit, but not these. The bolt pattern is different.

19's and even 20's would fit in there, but the largest I'd go are 18's. Anything larger is all bling.

If anything, lowering the car would lessen the choices you have for wheels since it decreases the space in the wheel wells.

Thanks for your post ... Now, you say the bolt pattern is different. What is the bolt pattern I am looking for? :)

5x114 or 5x114.3. They're both the same, but some places truncate the 0.3mm at the end....

The offset should be +45mm to +55mm

All right! :) Thanks, it does help knowing what I should look for.

I guess I can always opt in for these here: click for link (http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=runWheelSearch&initialPartNumber=AR18I52BML&wheelMake=ASA&wheelModel=AR1&wheelFinish=Black+w%2FMach+Lip&showRear=no&i1_Qty=4&autoMake=Honda&autoModel=Accord+Coupe+EX+V6&autoYear=2006&autoModClar=&filterSize=All&filterFinish=All&filterSpecial=false&filterBrand=All&sort=Brand), which are similar to the ones I wanted in the first post. I just think that on a completely black car with tinted windows - full chrome would look really nice ;)

Thanks! Hope someone can comment on the Brembo brakes too ;)

just dont get stagged wheels (like in the ebay auction)...it will be a pain, you wont be able to rotate your tires, and you will end up spending alot more on tires

First you should make sure that Brembo actually MAKES a kit for the Accord...I'm pretty sure they don't. If they do, they will tell you what the requirements are.

Also...

-- NICEEE! Can these fit? :) Seems like rite?

Brambo ...
-- On TireRack.com I found Brembo that does fit on Accord (or so they say), click here (http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brakes.jsp?&make=Brembo&model=GT+328mm+Big+Brake+Kit&group=GT+328mm+Big+Brake+Kit&autoMake=Honda&autoModel=Accord+Coupe+EX+V6&autoYear=2006&autoModClar=&perfCode=S).
-- Also - nice find for the rims. They look like those BMW ones, but I just find the BMW ones so "bussy" ... I like that.

Thanks guys.

i'm 100% positive they fit!!! i've got them on mine!!! hahaha... the stainless steel lip not only has the most mirror-like finish i've ever seen, but is strong and keeps super clean without fear of rust...

You just need Brembo then ;)

-- Can you elaborate more on this?

if you look in the first link you posted, of the bmw wheels, it says that the wheels are "Staggered" meaning that the rear wheels are actually larger than the front ones... (most times by an inch)...

this means that when it come time to rotate the wheels, you wont be able to, since then your front wheels will be bigger than than the back, giving an akward look, so you would have to just change the tires every time instead of rotating

i do, i do!!! besides their obvious benefits, they definitely make the rims...

they do, someone on v6p/gen7 bought one and had it installed last week..and may i say..it looks REALLY good...whole kit was a little over 2 grand

oh ya, and the kit is called Brembo BBK (Big Brake Kit)

heres the link to the persons on v6p:

i do, i do!!! besides their obvious benefits, they definitely make the rims...Thanks for the explanation - I had no idea what staggered meant ;) But hey, it makes sense! :) I guess on BMW's which are mostly back wheel drive it makes sense to have bigger tires on the back, I rather have both equal ;)

And OH MAN - do those Brembo brakes look nice or what!!!! I'd personally go with Red calipers - but WOW! :)

he ordered them here:

www.bespokevip.com (http://www.bespokevip.com/wheels.html)

...try not to go into shock over the price ...my bro's a baller ...i spent less WITH tires, but i've also got an 05 TL 6mt Navi and a nicer house than him too!!!
