Anyone else notice their exhaust getting a bit louder after breaking in?
When I first bought the car, I said to myself that this car is too quiet. After 3K I noticed the exhaust note sounds throatier, which is always a good thing imo.

The sound of my v6 changed a little after a couple thousand miles. It doesn't sound as muted now as it did when it was new.

Exactly, nothing too surprising though as exhausts do break in with mileage.
I'm enjoying the sound, I'm used to modified cars, this is my first car that I'm leaving alone.

Even exhausts need a few thousand miles to break in on a new car. When they're fully broken in, they are a little louder than when they're brand new.
