Honda has the CRUMMIEST window motors (and door locks) ever. And there is no extended warranty (just like the dim stereo light) for it, right? princess 03-05-2007, 09:14 AM What do you mean. "dropping down?" :dunno: If the motor isn't on, then it's simply out of it's channel. Which can happen if you use the window to shut the door too much. If it's using the motor & going down like normal, nut not when you wanted it to... it's electrical, but could be other things... a short.... in the control area or on the door... :dunno: The older Honda window motors lasted for a very long time!! We never had any problems with different models of the 80's. My daughter's '95 has a power lock issue. Her other '95 didn't. Normally the issues are from LACK of use... they gum up when dirty. s2kav6 03-05-2007, 10:59 AM What do you mean. "dropping down?" :dunno: If the motor isn't on, then it's simply out of it's channel. Actually I am not sure about the problem either, my friend lives in other state and I just quote the description directly from her email :D She has it fixed already but just wanna know if Honda offers any extended warranty if it is a common problem.. |
