The guy I sold it to has a WRX STI :notworthy I hope he takes care of it...

Wow, in my area that would be low. On Craigslist here, people sell 5th gen Accords for $5-6k and most are LX/EX models. Ofcourse, your miles are slightly above 15k a year. I've 'tried' to sell my car, but it never works out, people actually WANT to see it, go figure :lmao: . Then I back out because strange people want my baby! I'm :nuts: .

+1 Why would you sell a perfectly functioning 6th gen but not only that, an Accord that you did all the hard work of maintaining just so someone else can reap all the rewards. You got it to the point in years where all others cars start to have problems and make it immaculate and then turn around and divorce yourself from the situation. Oh, and it's an Accord and somehow, of all things, a Toyota :alien: gets thrown in the mix. I don't maintain my cars any differently whether I plan on selling them or not. Fact is, the car might be around long, or might be gone the next day. It's just a car, but as long as it's in MY hand, it's going to be maintained to MY liking.

I honestly see nothing to report, they both 'personally' attacked each other.

And one last thing, the term 'personal attack' means MANY things for different people. Where does it state on DA waht a personal attack exactly is? Different things are personal to different people, IMO the saying "We don't tolerate personal attacks" its too opinonated without an actual definition of what it means to do it. If one exists. please show me where? :dunno:

here's what it boils down to here:

we, as mods, try to keep the peace in the forum. i think that we all understand that diagreements are going to happen, and are healthy for debate.....

but,

we are not, under any circumstances, going to allow people to flame each other all day long on here, PERIOD..... doesn't matter if it is a 10 year member, or a new guy with his fist post just made in the intro section 5 minutes prior.... rules are rules.


i have seen other boards talking about other completely different subjects, et al, and they have the guy for breakfast lunch and dinner..... it's nasty, and not something that I personally would want to be a part of.......
