View Full Version : 250 mph bugatti.. holy smokes
If it's already posted, sorry.. but if not, this is for you "driving enthusiasts" out there... This will get you're morning fired up.
:notworthy Hail to the chief.. At 850,000 pounds (I have no idea but I'd say that blows a million dollar bill to pieces).
250 mph bugatti (no joke) (http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x157l2_bugatti-veyron-at-top-speed)

Let's see... A 60-month loan for $1,000,000 at 5.5% would come to .... less than $20,000 a month!
Great! My trade-in will almost pay for the first month :D . Time to call the Credit Union...

From the very informative wikipedia entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bugatti_Veyron) : "According to Jeremy Clarkson, the host of Top Gear, if the McLaren F1 were allowed to reach 120 mph before the Bugatti started, the Bugatti would still be the first to reach 200 mph." Amazing. I love Top Gear, too, btw.

Do they have a value package version?
A sweet ride, no doubt. At least now there's one available to part out:

As the Enzo goes, so goes the Veyron. :lmao:

And I was sick when my wife got a black mark on the bumper. But... I guess if I could afford the car... I could probably afford to fix it.

no way id buy a million dollar car to cruise on the streets. too many bad drivers and ignorant people. no, if i wanted to buy this, i'd have to spend TWO million and buy a complementary racetrack.
ramon, care to calculate my monthly payment now? :D

i would have to take out a loan every month just to pay the car loan, every month. :lmao:

Nice car.
Call me crazy, but I think I'm more interested in that VW track.... Looks like it'd be fun as hell to drive on.
What's funny is the thing was built by VW AG.. hmmmm I wonder how the JDPower initial quality rating will be. hehehe. This car would sell to the top 1% of the top 1% of the completely filthy stinking rich guys that happen to also be freakish fast car fanatics.
I'd also be willing to bet that more than 1/2 of them sold probably would never be driven also. At any income, I'd have a hard time taking out a million dollars on the road. Could you imagine a shopping cart rolling across the parking lot headed for your million-dollar baby?!
I actually came out the grocery store one day and saw a guy hopping into his Diablo with his bag of goodies. He definitely appeared to have a bad case of SDTMC Syndrome (small ____, too much cash) for which I think only a $250k Lamborghini is only a partial cure.
Dang beautiful cars though.. However, I contend my favorite as a kid and still is the original countache. A work of art. And on a smaller scale the old 928S Porsche.. what beautiful lines in that car. The original Audi TT approached it's almost-artistic body architecture. Makes me cry though to see what's become of the 911's.. Lost all it's character that old Ferdinand poured into his cars.
... Reason I ride a Harley.. Cheapest way you can have a 50's looking hotrod with the wind and sun of a ragtop.
