: Can you carry 4 tires in the back?

I'm leaning towards buying my next set of 4 tires from tirerack.com. The Accord has a rather small trunk for a mid size sedan. Is it capable of hauling 4 215/50/17 tires in that small trunk?

I've put three in mine before, I think so, remember you can fold the back seat down too and put them on there.

I got 4 235/45/17 tires as well as 4 TL wheels (in boxes) in my coupe. Had to put down the back seat of course. I'd expect a sedan could easily carry 4 tires.

I'm leaning towards Kumho or Continental tires to replace with soon to be bald Falkens which has horrible treadlife.

Its down to these choices now.

Kumho Solus KH16
Kumho Ecsta AXS
Continental PremierContact

All stock size at 215/50/17

I'll pass on summer tires, I am already lazy as it is. I have no desire to switch to winter tires and summer tires at all.

I always thought the Accord's trunk was pretty spacious...

Yes, You can fit at least 3 tires in the trunk alone, but it's very tight. I put 2 in the trunk (stacked), and 2 on top of the folded down back seat.

Can definitely fit 4 rims+tires in the sedan trunk. I did it last summer to inflate my TL tires to spec at the gas station.

Your car is your mule, my friend.. Find it, seek it and destroy the free space you get with the seats down!

did you know that you can fit a 6ft dogwood in the trunk of a 93???? :lmao:

lol stillerfan. You have a lot of bumper stickers too. Your car looks great for being 10+ years old.

It's a little bit OT, but I fit 1 large 7' wardrobe, a medium 5' bureau, a small duffle bag and groceries in my old Civic Coupe before (with the trunk closed, mind you)! I got the slammed look to boot! :lmao: You should be able to fit 4 tires in there if you optimize your space.

You are missing out. There is comparison between the combination of summer/winter tires.

I can't wait to get those summers back on!
