ok, this is my first thread with of any use on DA...so bare with me....i basically followed this great guide i found on clubrsx since being a member there for so long:

http://www.members.tripod.com/megatron01/index_files/Page338.htm

i took a before pic of them and an after pic of one completed.

i followed all of the steps in the guide except i chose not to use primer or anything..i purchased some krylon fusion, gloss black...no prep....i think they turned out great! lmk what you guys think. I think that the guide i posted is very well made and would help others in attempted this mod. Dont mind the g/f in the first pic:

how sad. you make your gf sleep on the floor.

headlight came out great though. you just sprayed the black over the "chrome"? it might not adhere very well....but time will tell.

i would love to do this mod but no way i'm using my only set of OEM head lights for this. buying a pair of spares would cost 100+, the same price you can get aftermarket black headlights for :thumbsdow

thanks 'thesteve' and 'bluek24a4'!

I just got a pair of OEM headlights on ebay for $70 shipped! I will probably be doing this mod soon. First, I need to figure out how to remove my bumper though... :thumbsdow
