cleaning seat belt straps...stiller fan 03-30-2007, 06:02 PM what is a good product for cleaning the straps for the seatbelts in my car? after all the use that they have gotten, they have gotten grimey and nasty, turning from tan color to gray or darker.... thanks.... Kinda dirty, you could use warm water & dish soap. Really icky, warm water & Tide or other liquid detergent. If spills are in the fabric.... you can use a shop vac to try to get it out while wet with a cleaner. Never solvent. Never bleach Ryan's right.... it's just fabric. Make sure you leave them all the way out to dry!!! | |
