Got room here for a former Civic guy?

I'm the former owner of a 2004 Honda Civic EX. I got it in August of 2005 and it was a really, really nice car, BUT...

It became too small to transport the kids in, so, last Friday, I upgraded to an 07 Accord SE, and I must say, I'm loving it!

Very nice drive. 6-disc changer, carbon fiber trim, only 14 miles on it when I took ownership of the Accord. Can't beat that.

Anyways, I loved the Civic, but I never realized how nice the Accord is until my sales guy got me into one and took me for a spin. Now, I'm hooked! So much more space, such a much smoother ride than the Civic. Wow!

They had room for me! I'm a former 7th gen Civic owner myself (01 EX coupe). Nice, reliable transportation, but I wanted something faster and with more room. I've been very happy with my V6 6MT so far. You discovered the same thing I did when I went to go look at the new Civics - a few extra bucks really goes a long way. Congrats!

Welcome. Those of use who''ve been around Hondas a while really can see the differences.

My mom's civic is Amazing. My next combination might not be an acura, but a Ridgeline and Civic as I really love the truck but hate the mileage. Who knows, if Honda puts a diesel in it next year, you might see my TL in the for sale ads (as much as i really love this car, I have an affection for diesels).

I was going to but a civic when I went in to my car. But they sold me the accord for less than the civic, so here I am. I really appreciate the fact that they did this now. I think you will like the car a lot.

I discovered the same thing with the Civic. I wanted a '99-'00 Civic Si for the longest of time (2/99~5/05). After I test drove one, I realized that I'd probably grow, and mature out of it pretty quickly. Then I started learning about the six speed Accord. I was sold.
