Questions 'bout CD & navi functionality

Two questions 'bout the CD changer and Navi system in the 04 Accord EX:

1) Is there a way to do random-play across all 6 discs in the changer?

2) Is there a way to not have to press OK on the disclaimer screen when the Navi system boots up? It's annoying.

No, to the second question. We're annoyed by it too. If you don't touch it, then you simply will have your nav off.

I haven't tried the random....I'll check it out & let you know....

Random seems to be only one disc at a time. I tried to figure it out how to do them all, no luck. I looked it up in the manual, no luck. Sorry.

I doubt you can be able to play random across 6 discs. If you listen when you change discs, you should notice it making a racket. If it had to do this all the time it might wear out significantly quicker, so I think Honda doesn't allow you to do that. I'm pretty sure that's the norm across the board as well for Nissan, Ford, etc.

It's a shame, really. My other car has an Alpine 12-disc changer mounted in the trunk, and the head unit can make it do "All Mix", which is random across all discs. I'd hate to have to put in an aftermarket changer just for that. Then again, if I do that maybe I can get an aftermarket MP3 changer... if the factory stereo can take input from one. I know it's an Alpine... is it AI-Net compatible?
