OK, got the wing installed last night- about cracked my head open when I removed the trunks springs, but it is done and looks fantastic...

NEXT mod is the OEM fogs.. I hate to pay anyone to do anything and I'm pretty good at DIY, but cutting the bumper is giving me pause- anyone here do it? Was it pretty easy? any tips or advice would be appreciated. I think this will be my last mod for awhile!

Got the fogs installed last night- not a bad job for a DIYer. The instructions are very good, and the templates are very good at ensuring the bumper cutting goes as planned. Plan on about a 5 hour job, but worth tackling.

Did you wire them as per the instructions? Or did you make them come on with the running lights instead of the headlights?

I just wired them per the instructions... I would like to have them switched independently or use them as running lights to help with visibility (people seeing me), just haven't seen any instructions to do it. Does your car have running lights?

Both of ours are wired to come on with the "running/parking lghts". (seems to depend on where you live on what they're called) It may not be legal, but it's sure nicer! He tapped into their wires instead of the headlights. The chime will still sound if you leave them on. Since with fog you want your lights coming from a low angle & less actual brightness, it made sense to us. It also works great for wider angle lighting on dark winding roads. Living in the delta area here, fog is a way of life....

Hmmmm.... I take it he wasn't able to plug these into the parking light function somehow without cutting/splicing wires, was he? The way the things come, I was surprised at the amount of plugs that had to be used/connected for the whole thing to work... no wonder, since they are limited to use only with the low beam headlights and they turn off under all other circumstances. Since I put the HID kit in, I really would like a way to use fogs during heavy snowfall (Michigan here!) without the blinding that the headlights would give. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

he usually puts on a new connector that's compatible to where it's going.....he likes it all to have a finished look & it's easier for repairs later. There may already be a thread on this.....
