No need to go wider in the rear on a FWD car ... You'd only be adding weight and restricting your options when it comes to rotating and replacing tires. You could do it, but there's really nothing to gain. Handling might even suffer because the car would become even more prone to understeer. :dunno:

Just to clarify, the reason option 2 won't work is because it's bolt pattern is 5Hx100. Since you have an '07 Accord, it needs to be 5 x 114.3.

Yup, offset is way off too (+30)

The tires will be sticking out of the wheel wells with a +30 offset. ;)

Allright so, exactly what would be the correct offset?

Factory offset is +55mm. The acceptable range is +45 to +55 and sometimes up (down) to +40mm depending on the application without major modifications.

Okay with reference to the other "sticking out a bit" thread. I checked a Sedan with stock wheels today and there is hardly any space left under the fender already. The front wheel/tire is already flush with the fender.

I'm not sure if this is the same case with USDM accords but you might want to check it first.

Measure how much space left under the front fender and then use this calculator:

http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp

It will tell you how much it will stick out. Mine sticks out slightly more than what's mentioned here because of the slightly round sidewall.

Hi, first post

I am buying a basic 2007, VP package 4cyl Automatic. Royal Blue / grey interior

I liked the car because of the lack of any chrome. I am not sure if I even want any emblems or badging. Probably not. I am thinking about a two tone treatment, similar to what Lexus has done. Some sort of subtle, complimentary gray, from the knee level crease of the body, down.

When looking for alloys to replace the "winter tires," I decided that I would LIKE to use 2004 - 2007 TL 5 spoke wheels

But, while shopping I saw warnings NOT to use the factory Honda "V-6" Alloy wheels.

Why?

Is the offset different? Or the speedometer runs different?

I also want to run this grille:

I also would like to know if I can install the Coupe nose on the 4 dr car.

:lmao: Am I nuts?

probably the lug nut pattern is different.
