Hey Guys...
I finally took my 2001 Accord V6 to Honda, and Honda replaced my transmission
With the remanufactured transmission being installed, Honda added an external inline ATF filter, does anyone know if their a replacement part# for the inline filter? For when the times comes, I would like to change it out with a new one to help with the longevity of my transmission.
Thanks everyone!

It's just a Magnefine filter, search Google for it. You can order direct or from BulkPart - bulkpart is cheaper but shipping is expensive. Direct, it's more expensive but shipping is free if you order 3

Ben... It doesnt look like a Magnefine filter... The filter is moutned just below the drivers side cooling fan, and looks smaller then a magnefine filter....
I attached a few photos of the filter...

Can't really see much but I will say that it does look significantly smaller than my Magnefine does. Well, that's what I heard from OdyClub, outside of that I don't know much. Here is what Honda has to say about it (from Princess)

Correct the ATF Filter Article
In the June ’02 issue of ServiceNews, we gave you some wrong info in the article “Replacement ATF Filters Now Available.” Call the Reman ATR Order Desk only to order a replacement ATF filter kit. The kit contains the ATF filter, hoses, lines, and washers. If you need just the replacement ATF filter, order it through normal parts ordering channels.
The article it references gives part numbers for all Honda cars/trucks/vans.

It costs $48!!! on slhondaparts.com. What a ripoff! I'd tell you to buy a Magnefine instead but then it might void your warranty. The dealer didn't mind my temp gauge and Magnefine, but now that the tranny is making a clunk noise going into reverse, I suspect that a Honda rep is going to need to look at it to do anything, and if he does I'd bet my life that he will void the warranty because of it. And I don't know if you saw my post about the filters in the 5AT, but it was pretty nasty, so not replacing it is not a brilliant idea.
