Wow! Franklin Lakes...2 miles from me! Where was the accident?

Your fault or some other Bozo's?

Will you get insurance $$ to help fund the new one?

:(

this is exactly what happened...

i was going to the garden state plaza mall. some new white civic sedan didn't look before it changed lanes and would have clipped me if i didn't slam on my brakes. by slamming on my breaks i lost all traction in my front tires and my car must have stalled too. (it was raining and slippery out) and as i tried to regain traction, the road curved to the left and i continued going straight because i couldn't turn....and i went right into the guardrail and an angle so i spun around and hit the guardrail again with the rear of my car this time.

.....i never got a lisence plate number nor did the whitnesses

That ****s. In Alabama it wouldn't matter if you got the license plate # or not. Unless they actually hit you, it's not their fault in any way.

damn reckless drivers!! :censored:

I had a green civic run a stop sign once I was already half of the way thru the intersection which caused me to slam on my brakes and nearly hit a parked car a couple of months ago (I was in in my old red Civic). They didn't even look back, and sadly, they live right down the street from me so I know who they were and I know they know there is a stop sign there! :censored:

I wish there was more you could do in your situation!!!

Ouch! That looks pretty painful - airbags went too?

The worst part is that you will probably be charged for the accident by your insurance company, and your insurance will go through the roof.

Do you have a body shop to help piece iit back together? If you took it aprt this far, you must be pretty handy yourself...

Between a couple of talented friends and a knowledge of EBay, you migh get back to normal for $1 - $2k...:sorry:

i took the car off insurance because im parting it out and not getting it repaired.

the body shop wanted 8K for it to be fixed, i took off all the damaged parts and got an offer for it to be fixed for about 3K, with the airbags being the most expensive part, heh.

but im not gonna fix it, i only took off all the damaged parts and im selling everything on the car.

im only 17, 18 next friday, and i cant have a car this coming year in college so im just going to save all my money and buy something next summer.
