I have an 03 accord coupe and was wondering if the 06 coupe tails would fit. I like the amber turn signals on them. Thanks

I saw 1 at the dealer the lens was red but it flashed amber....guy said that 2006 would require a rewiring of the lights....does anyone know if this is true.

Maybe it had a special bulb in it? :dunno:
Your 06' has LED's, pre 06's do not.

i know someones done the trunk conversion for a sedan (2006 brake lights and trunk, with some modification i believe onto a 03-05 sedan) however im not sure if it will work for hte coupe

i think you have it backwards. 06-07 rear on an 03-05 sedan would require MAJOR custom bodywork.
the 06 rear on the 03-05 coupe can be done with new tails, new trunk lid (with 3rd brake light), and new bumper.

Change the tail lights and rear on an 03 sedan:dunno: That's one of the best features of the car, it's the most noticable feature in my mind that sets it apart from the pack.
Ehhh, diff strokes I guess......

Can I change my 2005 EX-L Sedan to a coupe? I think I saw the parts to do it at Autozone.
Izzit gonna be an all-weekend project?

You're better off getting a coupe instead.
The coupe and the sedan are totally different other than its headlights. There is no way you can convert your '05 sedan to a coupe.
OP, the coupe has never had amber turn signals so changing them will be no use. BUT if you want the LED's, then you can do it by changing out the rear bumper and trunk lid.

One hot mod I saw was '06+ Hybrid sedan tails on a non-hybrid '06+ sedan (the hybrid tails have a clear turn signal area that flashes yellow). WolfpackBill did it. I think it looks awesome.
I know it's a little off topic but I had to chime in somehow.
Back to OP - I retrofitted newer 5-series LED "Celis" tails to my 1999 BMW 540, and the kit, produced by Hella, included a set of ballasts required with the LED tails. Not sure if the ballasts were for functionality of the Celis tails or whether they were required for the taillight monitoring system on that car. My point - even if they physically fit, there may be some electrical/electronic loading/ballasting differences with LED tails versus non-LED.

I believe someone on Gen7Accord did the mod before.

You're wrong. Went to Autozone and they didn't have the parts. But Pep Boys did. :paranoid: :lmao:
