Just got my first glimps of "wheels that keep spinning every time I stop" (according to Still Fly by the Big Tymers). Anyway, they were probably 22's on a black Escalade. They looked pretty cool, I don't think I would spend $8000 on them, but to each their own I guess. Does anyone else have any thoughts on them?

I saw a set in the showroom last week when I took the wife's car in for new tires and wheels. They are regular wheels that use a special lug nut that is threaded all the way through. Once the wheels are on a plate is bolted to the lugs with allen head bolts. The spinning "star" is part of this plate, attached via a bearing. So, sitting on display I could spin the inner piece and watch it go. Kinda cool, but not sure I would want them on my car. I prefer the understated look.

Might wanna change the title to "spinners" as they're commonly known :)
