Im thinking of going with the Tein SS or SSP coilovers...as well as some new tires (Toyo Proxes T1-S?). But i am happy with these stock wheels. They could be a little bigger 18, 19 but really i am happy with the way they look and I couldnt call them too small. I just want to drastically improve body roll ( I have the 04 TL rear sway) and handeling. Would it be a waste to spend big bucks on tires fro these stock wheels? are bigger wheels necessary to improve handeling? or the look with the drop?

The only gain from tire change on stock wheel will be due to the type of tire... The purpose of bigger wheels and tires is to have a shorter sidewall and wider contact patch.. go on tire racks site and do a size comparison, then go into specs on each tire to give the details.. A + or ++ size tire should still have the same revs per mile/rolling diameter to keep your speedo accurate..

Don't forget to take into account total wheel weight. The heavier your wheel/tire package, the less responsive your suspension will be.

BTW!

Should i buy the toyo proxes for stock wheels? will there be a difference worth paying $500???? What about the tein coilovers???????????? SS or SSP?????? will they look good with stock wheels?????will it reduce the fender gap?

As far as tires .. unless someone here has used them thats a good?...

Teins SS looks like you have to buy pillow blocks separate and SSP comes with pillow blocks.... Ride height is adjustable check out this link for ride height stats.....http://www.tein.com/honda.html

Hope this helps

Im still not getting a good idea of whether or not it is worth putting some really nice tires on stock 17'' wheels or not along with the tein suspension...do i need to upgrade wheels????

Better tires on stock wheels is no problem, it's worth it. The only question you have to figure out is what you consider to be a good tire, and then what tire has those qualities. Also expect a harsher ride from coiloversk though I think Tein should be okay. They have a name at least, and they're popular with 6th genners.
