Sounds reasonable to me but you need to check with other dealers not people on an Accord site.

Bid one against the other.

Well that is over $1500 under invoice, but there is the $750 rebate right now. Still a good deal in my book. I would start at $23500 if you haven't negotiated a price yet and see what happens.

Make sure you negociate the interest rate on the financing too. Dealers make a profit off of the interest rate too. Just so you know.

i got my accord v6 ex-l navi for invoice pricing with all the accessories listed below.

i went through the request a quote feature online and went through with an internet deal.

that car was originally 2,000 under invoice, which was approximately 25,000. this was the top of the line ex-l v6 navi.

the interest rate i got was 6% which is pretty reasonable considering the deal i got on the car. there are many good deals out there. the internet dealing seems to be a good place to start.

request a quote online and see what the internet price is for your trim level and compare that to what you were offered before.

I say that's a pretty good price. But I think you can definitely do better especially since it's the end of the month and the 2008 is coming out soon.

It shouldn't be too difficult IMO to get it down at least $200 more to say $23,900 + TTL

EDIT>>>>>>>

Someone on Edmunds got their EX-L V6 Auto last month for..... wait for it......... $23695 .

I've noticed that everyone has been able to get their 2007 EX-L v6 for at/just below/or barely over $24,000.

For some reason I cannot get the dealer to come down from $25,800.

I am trading a car in, so that may have something to do with it. I have a friend that works for Honda, only in another state (~500+ miles away). He told me what not to pay over and this guy wont budge. What gives?

Thoughts?

You can definitely do better than that. the best thing to do is email the 10 closest dealers for quotes. Dont even mention your trade. THe internet departments are usually pretty good. THen bounce the prices back and forth until you get the best price. Then goto the dealership with that price and start discussing your trade. $2000 is alot of money. I got my Ex-L V6 for $23695 last month and that was on a lease so on a purchase you sshould be able to get that easily. (Some dealers will claim the $750 is only on a purchase not a lease and some will give it to you)
Good luck with the purchase.

Looks like a good price to me for a brand new AV6 EX-L auto without Nav. Make sure you work in a set of mud guards too, maybe as deal-closing bait! :-)
