I have a 2005 EX-L I4.

Are there some tricks to let me program the door locks when I put the transmission in gear or start rolling past 9 mph like is in the 2007 CRV?

If so, can I do it without a scan tool?

Nope.

Unfortunately, he's right. I wouldn't mind having programmable door locks. I'm so used to my Sebring's locks where they lock at 14mph and unlocks all doors when I turn the ignition off and open the driver's door.

I'm sure the '08 Accords will have some sort of programming code for its door locks. I know the Odysseys have that in '07 after many customers (us too) complained that the '05 and '06 models don't have programmable door locks except the Touring models.

you have to buy the door lock module, as well as the thing that tracks the rpms

oh ya, and u have to wire it up yourself

KP's stuff isn't crap, it's pretty good. He knows what he's doing. Just because you don't want to add something on doesn't mean you need to insult someone's work.

Okay, my bad. I'm posting on too many boards at once.

My mom's 2006 Civic can be programmed to do this. I only know this cuz I skim/read the owner's manual when I'm bored.

I hate the Dodge/Chrysler products that do this. It scares the crap out of me everytime. They're so loud when they lock, and I'm never expecting it. I also don't like that the radio's on the newer ones don't turn off until you open the door. I'm thankful that you only have to open the door to unlock the doors, otherwise I'd probably have locked myself in those stupid Dodges and Chryslers cuz I don't know where the unlock button is.
