thanks ward, I love my car, and I love this site!! The tunes are nice but it was a pain in the neck to get them installed. there is still a lot of static at lower volume.......oh well I guess I just have to crank it to take care of that!!! :D :jumping:

Why static at lower volumes??

It looks really nice!:)

Where'd you manage to pick up the paint chips? Is there lots of gravel where you're at?

I love the looks of the speaker cover on that bass! I opted to not put in a boxed bass....I need the trunk space! Maybe someday they'll make bass' small, flat & sounding good! Like plasma bass'....;)

static at low levels has to do with the fact that I didnt switch out my radio. They are telling me that because there were no rca connections out of the head unit they had to add some kind of converter, and that now that there are bigger amps on it it is also boosting the static that was there before but you couldnt hear it? I really dont know much about it but I am dissapointed. they have put many filters on the lines to try to rid the car of static, and even put sound dampening material over certain areas such as where the fuel pump is to stop any interferance. the bass is nice, but does take up trunk space. the box was given to me and is actually made for going in a truck so it is smaller then your average box. it does tip over if I take a turn too quickly because the bottom of the box is only about 6 inches long.

as far as the paint chips.....I have a confesion to make. :( I have a lead foot. I live on a dirt road but only travel on that for 50 feet a day. I think it is the fact that when I am on the highway i have found myself doing 80 to 90. I do about 18000 miles a year and with so many trucks spitting up rocks on teh highway and my faster driving = paint chips. i am working on using the cruise control to regulate my speed, so I am getting better. :) It is just tough with a car that wants to keep going.
