To the Accord lovers out there.. what do you think my car is worth?

2001 4 Door EX 5MT w/ VTEC 4 Cylinder (I think it's 150hp compared to the 130hp ULEV California 4 cylinder), 116,000 Miles, Nighthawk Black Pearl, Cloth Quartz Interior

"Upgrades":
- Xenon Lowbeams
- Homelink (out of a V6 EX-L)
- Spiffy "S7 dimensional" gauges
- Real wood trim (not fake plastic stuff.. real stuff!)
- Alpine CDA-9857 w/ iPod Direct Cable; Sirius; MP3/WMA (Single CD)
- Infiniti Reference Speakers in the front (component)
- Infiniti Reference Speakers in the back (3 way 6x9)

The Good:
- New Tires all around (~2k miles on them)
- Mostly highway miles (100 miles a day on I-5 in California - is that good?)

The Kinda Bad-Good.. Good in my view:
Due to some idiot big rig and the pebbles flying out of the back of his truck the car has: new bumper, hood, headlights. Bumper, fenders, hood, roof, spoiler, trunk, and rear bumper all painted. About $8k in parts & paint work; all done by Bertoluccis in Sacramento (I felt weird parking my car next to a viper and BMW.. but it's the best body shop and it's the only place I will go)

The Bad:
Driveshaft! I had them both replaced about a month ago; and one of the replacements was faulty, so that got fixed.. problem solved, but now it feels like one is bad again.

Why i'm selling:
New job.. money is a little better and i'm really tired of shifting in traffic in the morning.. my commute mileage hasn't really changed, but now I go into the downtown and deal with traffic. I'm wanting to get a car with more power, leather, bluetooth, all the nice stuff that i've wanted since I had my first car in 2002. (04/05 TL)

So just trying to get a general feel for what you guys think it might be worth, I can always trade it in but I would feel better if it went to someone who is passionate about Accords and will keep it clean.. I'll probably be doing the new car thing in like 2 months. Thanks for the input! :)

Here are the most recent pics of it (gauges are different now):

wow, you've maintained it well. unfortunately, mods don't add to the value of the car. so you're looking at whatever kbb says, since cali mostly goes by kbb.

The 130HP Engine was only in DX models. There are only slight power differences in ULEV vs. non-ULEV engines. Like the poster above said, go by the book, but having body work, plus mechanical issues (even though it's minor) puts you at good condition, even if your car looks excellent. -$

Also, your car has slightly higher than avg. miles a year. 15k is what's considered to be average, you've got about 4600 more than that a year. -$

Your biggest money maker on that car is going to be if you had the timing belt and water pump replaced. If you have documented records of that service (105k) having been done, you have the upperhand over the 50% of used Accords for sale with that kind of mileage that are being sold by people who don't want to invest money, or don't know about it needing to be done etc.

After looking at the gauges (google), you'll probably find that Accord buyers will prefer the stock ones. If you ask a used car salesman at a Honda dealership who the pickiest buyers when it comes to used Hondas are. They'll tell you the Accord and Odyssey buyers.

On seccond thought, if you can sell the bodywork off as cosmetic repairs made due to aging, dings, chips etc. a buyer might appreciate that.

IF you have the OE parts, take the mods off and sell them on ebay if you want anything out of them. I would probably just sell it as is. May not be worth your trouble to take them off.

Without a doubt you need to sell it private party. Price it mid-book (between Kelley Wholesale & Retail) and see what offers you get. Your local credit union can use their Kelley Blue Book software to give you the wholesale / retail breakdown with options/mileage. The Kelley Blue Book page online is "ok" but lenders will use the software they get directly from Kelley.

Sorry, I missed the "gauges are different now" at the end of your post above.
