There is a small fee, yes. I've been to the pick-a-part in Sun Valley (LA) more than a couple of times. Unfortunately never noticed anything earlier than 10 years old.

At least in LA it seems the higher-priced salvage yards get the more recent models and don't even let you look at them sideways.

I actually had some schmo refuse to sell me an antenna base for my Jetta because he would have had to have taken down the headliner to access the retaining nut.:thumbsdow

Only just... the posters, save yourself MCH, are all in SoCal. But you're right. Unless the meet is in a salvage yard :paranoid:, better to have created a new post.

Unfortunately I don't know about any meets, but this isn't surprising as I have tendencies toward antisocial behavior and I've never been known to play well with others.
