After 4 years of driving a 90 240sx I decided it was time for something a little bigger. So 2 weeks ago I bought an 05 EX-V6. So far I have been very impressed. Although I'm still getting used to the Honda shift logic, the drive-by-wire throttle, and the extremely quiet ride as compared to the 240sx :thmsup:.

Glad to have you as part of the Honda family. This is my first Accord, but I did briefly own a '97 Civic in 2002. I'm still kicking myself for getting rid of that car, and I'm very happy with my Accord. I'm not familiar with the V6, but people here sure seem to enjoy them. I sure hope that yours treats you well.

It was a 90 Hatchback....it was pretty much stock, just did wheels(Falken) and suspension(Nismo) on it since it was a daily driver. Probably won't do anything to the Accord for the first year, I really need to finish my Bronco first before starting another project.

I had had my fun with it. It was an S13 non turbo KA24E. I said the exact same thing the for the first 3 years of owining (I'll never sell this thing.), but hitting your head on the sunroof daily gets old, all the rattles of a 17 year old car, and some of the other quirks that come with a 240SX. Don't get me wrong the car was a blast to drive, but it was time to get a more grown up car something more comfortable. So far the Accord fits that.

Well 21 days and ~1000 miles, and still getting used to the car.

One thing I know for certain is that me + V6 = very short tire life.
