:boohoo:

I just had my '06 7th Gen 3 months ago. I bought it as second hand car. I used to have a car wash on a station, i haven't tried DIY since I dont have that garage to put on my car. Only the last time I had it washed, I noticed a water dripping inside, I found out that the windshield is not original from Honda, it means that it had an accident before I bought it :headbash:(poor me, I haven't checked it before). The rubber(top) the one that covers the gap are not fixed properly. How can I repair this? What's the best sealant I should buy, I'm planning to DIY to fix it.

Please help. My car is filthy now with sand(Im here in Middle East country) now from the outside and I cant bring it to shop for car wash.

:(

doesnt necessarily mean the car was in an accident...sometimes ppls windows get rock chips, and they have them replaced

ok, the stamp on the glass is not HONDA, means that's not original right?:dunno: the window glass are all HONDA stamp.

Returning to the shop does make sense? After 3 months from the time i bought it? Its not my option right now actually, if I haven't found a sealant to repair it, I would better go to Car Shop to fix it...another expense from my side.:headbash:

Thanks guys..:)

It probably wasn't cleaned properly when putting it in.....

Here's the replacement instructions. So you'll know where any sealant is supposed to be.

Thanks for the inputs! especially that helpful tips princess.

Two days ago, last Friday I went to the shop for repair and fortunately they did the right thing as I was thinking and the same steps from the Instructions given by princess, only the difference was the drying period.:D But that is not a big factor since I am here in the ME Country and it is summertime, heat is going up to 45 deg., so one day is enough. After 3 or 4 days, Ill do the washing and I hope I am save by that problem.

Thanks guys!

If you want to know if the car has been in an accident just pop the hood and look for this.

1. Vin tag on each front fender (on the wall of the engine compartment left and right)
2.Vin tag on the hood
3. If you remove the grill you can see if the bumper cover is orig. (but a bumper cover isn't that big of a deal; if it was a major accident more than that would have been replaced.
