The Batmobile tires are 195/65R15/89H and I need a new front driver side. I will replace both front tires but my ? is how much of a difference will it be if the speed rating is 88H or 91H on the tires vs the 89H that the tires currently carry? If anyone can shed some light on this I would greatly 'preciate it:yes:

Tire Rack does a great job discussing all of those things

I read the article before I posted here which led me to my question. I understand that an 89H load index carries a greater weight than say an 88H load index. My question is if my rear tires are an 89H would it be that much of a difference in ride etc if the front tires were say an 88H or a 91H instead of the 89H? Should I go for the greater load index (91H) instead?

I wound up buying tires with 91H load rating and so far the ride is fine. When I asked the tire guy he said you can always go the same number or a little higher but you never want to go lower if you can help it. That is the answer I was looking for one way or the other. All I wanted to know is would it hurt if I went slightly above the OE load rating of 89H. Thanks
