I finally got around to taking a few pictures of my ride today. Mods are in my signature. And yes I know it could use a drop, but living in the NE with all these potholes and this being my daily driver I just can't give up much more comfort. Enjoy!

Very sharp and clean! The metallic tint really looks great with the silver.
I also like your house+yard

Very nice, i love HFP Wheels
2 questions, what exactly is a "lumar" tint, and where and for how much did you get the wheels?

Llumar is the brand.

As someone else said Llumar is the brand name and I got my wheels on eBay, but the seller was local so I saved on shipping. They were used, but in good condition with only a couple of small nicks. For $400 I couldn't pass them up .

Hey now! Actually maybe one day I'll get the Tein SS kit. From what I have heard it still gives a decent ride and it's adjustable for for ride height and shock dampening.

The tint does have a hint of metallic in it. It actually has a platinum coating on it to further reduce the amount of heat that enters the car. The metallic coating is noticeable from certain angles.

Hmmm, hope the rear window tint doesn't have any metal in it or else it will interfere with your radio reception since the antena is in the glass of the rear window!

Typically only a problem with XM or Navi. Regular radio reception shouldn't suffer.

love thi rims, 5 spoke are the only way to go.
a little drop would make it look so clean and Finish off the look, but then you have to deal with a lower car:thumbsdow

I don't think there is enough of a metallic film to cause problems. Used the same tint all around. I dont have Navi, but my XM reception is no worse than before the tint job.

Good, good. That really woulda sucked if it screwed your reception up.
I really like the tints. I have been putting off my tints because I cant decide how dark to go... I'm either going to wrap 30% all around like you or 30% front 20% rear.
Either way I really like your tints!

I was in the same boat as you, but I decided that I liked the look of the same % tint all around better. Darker in the back just didn't do it for me...

I am thinking that also, but if you get %'s that are somewhat close to each other it doesn't look that bad at all.....
20% vs 30% (as mentioned before hand) would be semi drastic, but I think there may be 25% out there wgich would hardly be noticable

True. But what's the real benefit? It's essentially an opinionated question. one way or another.
I just think it looks cleaner.

I agree, it is subjective...
Benefits for me would be improved heat reduction without trying to look like I'm 16!
Bah, i'll probably get the same % since I seem to be troubled over it....

I did 30% on the sides and 5% on the back window. I myself like the same shade on the sides too.

I have a metallic tint made by llumar as well. I have had no issues with bad radio reception or satelite reception for the gps. Good tint overall, though my install could have been better.
I also have the hfp wheels. they look fantastic and perfect size imo. 17" is a great compromise between handling and comfort.

nice job, who did it?
The tint? Tropic Tint (http://www.tropicwindowtinting.com/) in Union, NJ. Definitely not the cheapest place around, but the quality of the work is top notch. Took him 2-3 hours to do the whole car.
