Not true, my EX-L is a 5spd. The 2.4L models have an available 5spd, only the V6 models have the available 6spd.

I don't understand why Honda still uses the 'L' after the EX. I mean ALL EX V6's have leather, what is the use?

EDIT: Well, it looks like there are 2 versions of the EX-L, the V6 and the I4, which comes with the 5MT....MY BAD!!

Correct. EX's come standard with Cloth. EX-L's mean leather and you can get the 5MT w/ the 4cyl or 6MT w/ the V6.

Since I am trading for fuel economy, I am going w/ the 2.4 but the 6cyl wd be sweet!! I just know if I got the 6cyl I wd dog it and the MPG wd be where I am at now.

Get the V6 the Mpg is almost the same.

nah, mpg on the 5 spd i4's (with the same state's gas & driver) were 28/29mpg. with the 6spd v6, it's 20/21. :lmao: those are "in real life" numbers. the stickers/epa estimates will tell a similar tale (if i was at home, i'd pull them off the wall and quote them exactly), but vary the numbers a little.

well, all infomation sources I've checked show about a 2 mpg difference between the 4 and 6 . I would go with the 6. Initial cost is more but the fun factor is worth it IMO> :thmsup:

A 4cyl will retain value better than a 6cyl.

If he looking at a 5MT i4, and you're suggesting a 6MT V6 that's thousands of dollars worth of price differemce.

Well, after much thought my Wife and I descided to keep the NISMO for another year or two as we are keeping the SeaRay for a while and will need something to tow it with. She is not allowed to tow w/ her company car and I don't want to go and buy an old used truck. I will stop by from time to time and see what is going on.
