View Full Version : 3 Power Windows do not work!! Mrscary13 07-01-2007, 02:16 PM I have a '94 Accord and yesterday 3 windows stopped working, the only one that is still working is the driver side window. Anyone know what the problem is before i have to take it to the dealer to get it fixed? Accordlover 07-01-2007, 02:22 PM Check the fuses. There's a fuse box in the top left of the engine bay that is completely labeled, and there is also another fuse box in the drivers foot well where the hood release is on the side. I cannot remember if the PWR window fuses are under hood or in the car. Start with some pliers and the under hood box, I think it's in there. Read the label on the box, find the fuse pull it out. If you put the same fuse from another part of the car and place it into the pwr. window fuse place and the windows work then you need a fuse. I'm pretty sure that's all it is, a trip to the dealer hopefully won't be necessary. 06accord 07-01-2007, 02:23 PM did u accidentally press the window lock button? should be located similar to this. Accordlover 07-01-2007, 02:31 PM did u accidentally press the window lock button? Ah good idea! :lmao: Don't know why I didn't think about that. The window lock is the button by the window switches that says ON, on it. Mrscary13 07-01-2007, 02:32 PM Just went a checked the fuses and they were all ok, and i checked the window lock button but isnt that one for the adjustment of the mirrors? Thanks for the speedy responses! 06accord 07-01-2007, 02:34 PM I think the window lock is a rocker style on the 94's, right above the window switches Accordlover 07-01-2007, 02:36 PM Yes the window lock is near the window switch on 1994-1997 Accords. The lock is that switch below the MIRROR control pad. 06accord 07-01-2007, 02:37 PM heres the pic i was looking for Accordlover 07-01-2007, 02:40 PM heres the pic i was looking for Hey that looks like my car!:lmao: Same color and the same steering wheel cover! Accordlover 07-01-2007, 02:45 PM Funky! Well glad you got it fixed yourself and not by a dealer that would've charged an hours labor to flip a switch. :lmao: anysia 07-01-2007, 05:59 PM ya know, this happened to me once in my 04 coupe (i think it was my coupe... not entirely sure though! i trade in cars too much!). it was weird. it wasn't in the locked position, but it thought it was and i couldn't operate the windows. baffled me for a bit! :lmao: then i decided what the hey, i might as well toggle it and see what happens... it worked after that! i think i might have actually posted about it on here at the time even. :lmao: i wa sso mad! i thought it might be something serious, but it was just the toggle switch having an attitude for the day! namegoeshere 07-01-2007, 09:23 PM there some trash inside that wasnt allowing it to make contact i guess! translation: I had the window lock on lock. D' Oh! :lmao: Foreign_Wide 07-02-2007, 04:00 AM My old 1995 Acura Legend's switch wouldn't work until I flipped it back and forth a few times.
