I've got a constant hissing sound, mostly noticeable at low volume levels. It's present on c/d & radio. Running stock head unit, JL Audio 450/4, powering Vr690(rear) & Tr650(front), + 10w0 10" sub in the trunk.

Any suggestions on how to eliminate the noise?

Welcome to the forum....this isn't an area I'd know anything about, but likely someone here will have a suggestion!:)

I have a very similar problem with my stereo. I added two amps and replaced my speakers and added a sub. my first problem was that there wernt enough volts to power both amps, and so I was told to get a line driver. after that they installed many filters, and even put in some dynomat over the fuel pump and in some other areas to try and cut down on the static. Make sure your rca's are shielded, but with all this done I still have static. The worst thing is they cut the doors to put in the new speakers so I cant even go back to the factory original setup. :( If anyone has any more suggestions I would love to hear them.
