:dunno:

It's already weeks since I notice this one. Before it happens only if I applied a sudden break and the this handbrake light turns ON.:paranoid: and now its getting worse, it happens most of the time:bawling:. How can I get rid of this? Is it a big problem, maybe some wirings or anything? Please help.

Thanks.

Your brake fluid is likely just low, add some to the resevoir under the hood and that should take care of the problem.

I agree, but unless your brakes are very worn your fluid level shouldn't have dropped that much. It's a sealed system so check out your brake pads as well. It may be time to replace them.

Glad it was that simple, but yes if the fluid was that low you probably need new brake pads.

Uh, the repair guy now needs to push the caliper pistons back to put the new pads in, and this may now force the brake fluid to overflow the reservoir......

Be sure to ask the shop to put a towel around the brake fluid reservoir before they start putting on the new pads just to avoid brake fluid everywhere around that area.

You probably should have changed the brake pads first before adding the fluid...........

Yesterday I bought and replaced the front brake pads. I was so surprised after coz I found out that all the pads has cracks already on the middle.:jawdrop:. I am afraid maybe the rear pads were damage also. I havent ask the guy to check it since I was in a hurry that time. I imagine that changing those pads take me at the right time, if not maybe after more drive Ill get lost on the driveways.

For the money I spent, Ill wanna ask you guys is it's fair.:paranoid:

Front Brake pads(Genuine Parts/2 pairs:left and right) = $70 (250AED here)

Installation Labour Charge = $30 (110AED here)

The guy told me that front brakes are important and for the rear replacement would be after 10K more. Was it rational? :dunno:

100 for front brakes is not bad, although your rotors should have been turned probably... :dunno:
