Nope, not really into that. It might look awkward too, as the emblem on the front seems to be quite large, possibly larger than the typical red emblem. It might look a little lost on the front end IMO.

To be honest, I think it's played out.. Most people that would go JDM on the 7th gen sedan would get the Inspire grill.

honestly do u want a big red H in front and rear of your car. My friend did it to his civic and i think it makes the car look cheap.

Someone says it in every post like this so here it goes:
bottom line is this: it's your car. it's ultimately a matter of personal preference. many people in this forum enjoy the subtle styling, and kind of understated elegance of the stock look of our cars. other forums are all about mods. personally, i think i fall into the former category regarding the exterior appearance of the car. performance stuff under the hood, or where it can't necessarily be seen, though is another matter.

looking at your signature, though, it looks like you're into the external stuff too. go for it!

thanks for the comment caesarfivepointoh. though, I personally wasnt going to do it to my ride, but just wanted to see if anyone HAD done it. since i know "everyone" objects to it, i was assuming someone out here was about to make a stand for themselves, and be different. can anyone photochop a Red H on the 7th gen oem grille, possibly 04 sedan in graphite pearl. :naughty:

I have a red stitched shift know.... Bought it off of a 98 ITR several years ago and am finally putting it to good use...

Like caesar said, it's your car. Do what you want. DA is not very mod friendly unless its OEM or from a TL. Then every goes ga-ga over it....:lmao:

As you get older, OEM seems to be the way to go.......

i was assuming someone out here was about to make a stand for themselves, and be different. most people that want "to make a stand for themselves, and be different" get Inspire parts. i.e. Inspire grill, Inspire headlights, Inspire fog lights, Inspire bumper, Inspire hood, etc. etc. That is the way to go JDM for the 7th gen accord.

Does anyone have a photo of the red one they can post? I've never seen one.

Most people who have money to make a stand by getting all those parts could have made a stand buying a TL or a Lexus (to stay Japanese).....:blah:

Obviously people buy an Accord because of the many price points it offers. After that, they can do whatever they want to make THEIR Accord stand out based on their budget.

I wasn't intending to be mean about it or anything, but if you want to retaliate in that manner, feel free.

My intention with that post is that the current trend for the 7th gen accord is to get Inspire parts if they want to go JDM. The red emblem is a trend of the past, it was the thing to do a few years ago. I don't see it that often these days.

But I wasn't trying to be mean or say that you have to do what I tell you to do. What do I care? It's not my money. Do with your car what you want to, your money, your car, not mine.

oh, and TL and Lexus blends in unless it is modified. If you really want to stand out, buy a Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.

just a note: the TL is a US only Honda vehicle, so there's no staying Japanese on that one... and i've already made a stand by owning an 05 TL 6spd Aspec Navi (that's long!!!)... :D ...so Inspire it is!!!
